About us

Broker Bros is a family-owned and run finance and mortgage broking business, based in Tamworth NSW. We service local clients with a well-established network as well as clients spread all around NSW including Newcastle, Mudgee, Gunnedah, Sydney, Dubbo, and Wollongong as well as interstate. We have clients all around Australia, in Tasmania, QLD, Victoria, Western Australia and everywhere in between. Your role will primarily be to support Finance and Mortgage Broking services to ensure clients are communicated effectively, applications are processed accurately, efficiently, and correctly, as well as contribute to our fun environment. We are a small team with big goals.

In this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic casual or part-time “gun” with a goal to develop, progress, and build their career. Hours and days will be negotiated depending on the successful candidate along with flexible working conditions. We consider ourselves very accomodating, adaptable and flexible.

Remuneration will be above award rates including the opportunity to be rewarded with commissions and bonus incentives.

Qualifications & experience

Advantageous:

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Onedrive)

  • Strong computer skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy of data input

  • Positive attitude, sense of humor and good initiative

  • Great phone manner, and able to present well

  • Good Math and English skills will benefit

  • Assertive and confident yet jovial

  • Shows perseverance and determination

  • Myer-Briggs Indicator report - personality indicator

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Entering customer information, loan details, and other data into online systems

  • Managing and filling documentation through online systems

  • Generating compliance and lender paperwork for The Broker in preparation for client appointments

  • Contacting lenders to check on application status from submission through to settlement

  • Providing timely and accurate updates to client on file progression

  • Liaise with clients at various points throughout the process from gathering documents for initial assessment through to settlement and ongoing follow-up and loan maintenance.

  • Quality checking of client supporting documents

  • General office administrative tasks

  • Basic marketing and content writing

Someone who has a strong initiative, a little bit of flair, general knowledge, a personality with a sense of humor yet assertive, confident, and willing to learn and take on a challenge.
